SLCH USA and its predecessor organization has been poviding funding support to this facility since 2005.
Our programs are designed to:
- Provide a clean, safe, sanitary living environment
- Provide Social Service programs.
- Provide management assistance in operating the facility
- Facilitate access to medical support and rural community outreach programs including, but not limited to, HIV / AIDS , education/prevention, HIV / AIDS testing and ART treatment if needed.
Goals of our programs include:
- General health will be improved. Life expectancy increased.
- Computers and a computer literacy program will be implemented to encourage continuing education.
- Eliminate the stigma of testing HIV positive.
- Establish micro-enterprise.
Capital Investment/Building Renovation:
By renovating the building, basic sanitation needs are provided as well as safe dry sleeping areas. The kitchen area, with running hot water will provide for cleanliness during and after food preparation. This is a substantial part of our early efforts with an active fund-raising effort underway to support the major phases of building improvement to address these needs.
