Where we started:
The initial building structure consisted of the main building shell comprised of one large room and a small section that had been added on the back of the building at a later date. The building has an unstable roof, and no interior rooms, no water, plumbing or electricity.
The renovation plan:
The architectual plans for our renovation project includes sleeping quarters for our children & live-in caregivers, kitchen & dining facilities, boys & girls bathrooms, and, a general living area for our children to study or play. Exterior plans will also include security fencing around the entire facility grounds, an area suitable for playground equipment and an enclosed gardening section that will allow the children and caregivers to grow many of their own vegetables.
